Job sites need to represent the people who live in the community. The purpose of Prevailing Wage is to keep local contractors working and local workers making a living local wage. When people from outside communities are brought in to do work it defeats the purpose. Cities like St. Louis are taking it upon themselves to take the Prevailing Wage law to the next step.
